C5 Symphony II upgrade - odd issues
I just completed an upgrade of my original Symphony to a new Symphony II radio along with a Bluetooth module (Audi OEM).
I've since discovered the BT module is bad and have unplugged it.
The odd issue I'm having is that the DIS only displays radio data when I push one of the MFSW buttons (any button except the voice command button).
The DIS will only flash the radio info (channel, rdbs, cd track, ...).
My speculation is that because i've coded it for bluetooth, but it's not functional, the DIS is somehow treating the radio data as it would an incoming call. This happens with the BT module plugged in or not.
I don't know if it's related, but I also have a random power cycle issue.
No rhyme or reason to it, the power will not cycle for 40 minutes or so, then it might cycle 3 times in 30 seconds. When it happens, it's quick and turns back on to the initial volume setting (setting of 10).
Any ideas for either of these issues?
