Can you add a trip computer?
 

Hi All,

Is it possible to add a trip computer to a 2001 A4 which just has the standard DIS?? If so does the steering wheel stalk replacement connect straight in??? ANyone done it???

No you can not retrofit it. The sensors and wiring loom are not in place.

Guess you have been doing this a long time ;-)

Just going through what my wheels dont have and wondering what I can put right. Shame there is no easy way to determine whats possible... (because I mentioned it in another post) e.g. even though I have a 2001 (European B6) the dealer insists there is no cd autochanger cabling in my car or any other that age!! Everyone one here says there is... appart from removing the greg trunk lining I cant find one either... hey ho...

I know the B5's all came prewired, but i'm not sure on the B6. I can buy the cd changer cable from the dealer ya know.
