So after like 3 weeks of back order I finally got my diamond hex speakers.. So monday everything goes in

2 12" d6 subs
hex components in the front
d6 components in the rear

D3400.4 amp for the speakers
D61000.1 amp for the subs
eclipse equalizer

everything is dynomated

 

are you putting them in an A4 by any chance? If so what size components are going up front 5 1/4"? Let me know how the install goes, i'm looking to gut my whole bose system myself.

 

yeah i gotta b5 a4....I think they got me the 4 1/2 inch component sets but i'll double check. All I know is that my set from my other car was too large to fit in the audi.

I'll post pics of the install and get back to you on those sizes

 

those hexs and D6s are both goonna want significantly more power the 50 perchannel. I have owned both the hexes really shine with 150-170 per side and the D6 i would give no less then 100 per side

 

yeah i forgot to say that those were my older amps....I used to have 2 D3 8" subs to and i think that was the amp I used for them

getting new ones because one of my older amps was a directed audio

I'm thinking of getting both d6 amps since they are lifetime warrenty
