fuse 16 battery drain
 

Hi Guys,

I have a 2001, 1.8 , TT, 180bhp
The battery has been draining overnight for the past week.
The battery is fine, I did the parasitic drain test over the fuses with a multimeter and found a draw through fuse 16
According to the sticker on my dashboard this is the fuse for the aux coolant pump. After an hour of searching, I’ve found out the 180bhp model doesn’t have the aux coolant pump,
I’ve removed the fuse and it not draining the battery anymore but the fans now run for about 15 mins after I switch off the ignition.

Any ideas?
