Default HID Problem... Need Help!

Hey guys, recently my aftermarket hid bulbs went out. They were hooked up to an oem ballast. I checked the bulbs and they work fine. I believe the problem is the oem ballast. I called Audi and a new ballast for a 2000 a4 2.8 is $509. I need 2 since both have stopped working. Is there a cheaper option? Can i go aftermarket on the ballasts?

Any help/advice is appreciated!
My e-mail is shoeheadzee@yahoo.com

Thanks, Zubin C.

Make sure the kit can use D2S bulbs.
