I have a 2001 A4 1.8T Quattro. This question is stupid but I'm confused. Does that have the HID headlights in it or does it just matter what type of bulbs are in there. I haven't taken them out to check yet. Let me know , thanks.

 

the only thing that comes with it is the hid projector. yuou need to get the ballast and HID bulb and wire it in yourself. if you need wiring diagrams let me know.

 

Well I just bought H7 Xenon bulbs from ebay today. I guess there not gonna work?

 

Those aren't true Xenon bulbs as you see on BWM's and some Audi's with lighting packages. Those are just halogen bulbs with a small amount of xenon gas injected for marketing.

If you paid less than 200 bucks, it's not the real thing.
