I have recently determined that it is possible to keep the fog lights on while the high beam lights are on. I was able to pull a certain relay out of my Cobra and my Jeep and by cutting one of the metal leads off it keeps the fog lights on when the high beams are switched on. All other operation is normal. Does anyone know what relay or other procedure is necessary on an Audi to accomplish this? Specifically, a 2001 A6 2.8L. I'm not concerned about legal, I live rurally.

 

front fog lights are independent from rear, just switch them on

 

What he is speking of is when you turn the high beams on the fog lights go off. Direct wire them to the head lights then the will never turn off.
