How long was your question posted before you erased it?

Why would you erase it instead of posting under it?

The probability of your question being answered went from slim to none.

Your welcome.

Here's his issue (posted in 3 different threads, and no responses, although he does say to e-mail him the answer, so I don't know if anyone has or not.:

" Help me please!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

k guys i am new to the forums, so hello but have a big problem(s)
k i have a 1997 Audi A8 4.2 with what seems to be a bad TCM. i looked into it and thats what i found.
about a week ago i could not afford to finish the TCM problem so i traded this guy for a jeep.
well the guy says the tranny is bad on the A8 so he wants his jeep back, he did some work on the A8 for me so i said ok.
I have the car back and there are some problems, electrical problems which i HATE!
My main information screen only works when a door is open or i hi the "test" button, and little icons appear for a few seconds. other than that nothing
the guy that i got it back from is a complete idiot! and i found out who worked on the car is a salesman for and auto lot not a mechanic, so neither of them know ANYTHING! i am pissed but dont know what to do!
if i could get some help from u guys it would make my year, LITERALLY!
I am a full time college student that doesent have other resources other than u guys, so please give me any advice u can.

thanks a ton guys!

oh and Email me back i'm not sure how to navigate this forum yet, still learning, so until then respond to my email if you could please flannigan1313@yahoo.com"

Basically, he swapped an A8 with a bad TCM and tranny for a Jeep and then took the A8 back because he didn't enforce the 'as is' sale law.
Now he has a couple electrical problems he says he didn't have before, basically with the menu display, and wants to know if anyone else had this issue before.

hey guys,
thanks for all your replies, and sorry for being so short tempered, i am just frustrated with this whole situation, as you can see
I could have kept the jeep if i wished to do so, but the clutch master was bad on it, and the guy who i traded gave me a good deal, he gave me brakes, rotors and tie rods along with $300 on the trade, so i said ill take it back and finish it myself.
as before these are the problems i came upon in return of the vehicle, and am seeking some advice.
I have an appointment this weekend to do the J5 recall on the speed selector pin at my local Audi dealer, and am hoping that they can tell me more info on things.
Thanks,
Erik
