Would a part from a golf with the engine code akl work just the same in an audi with the same engine code?

 

yep they are mostly the same engine anyway

 

i see that means you can buy cheaper parts, although they arnt official audi the part i looked at was siemens.

 

Audi dont make all the parts ( Siemens will be electrical ) but they are the same used in both cars, dare I say it even skoda Octavia use the same parts.

all parts made by Audi group on the VW/Skoda/Audi have the rings stamped on the as well as the other makes but that's for main parts, electrical are normally supplied by Bosch/Siemens/Teves ABS
