how did it plug in?
|
It plugs into the cdc port on the back of the head unit. My car didn't have a cd changer but my head unit is a Symphony II that had the CD changer option.

so i have a6 disc in mine, would you know where it goes?

So i've got the same ice link connector and for the price its awesome, the only thing i hate though is i have to take it off the dock to change songs because it give me the "accessory connected" screen which drives me crazy. Have you found any way around this?

Ice-Link
I don't have that issue, I can control the ipod from both the steering wheel and the head unit. I think if you hit the disk 6 key it brings up the screen to switch between the dension screen and the ipod screen. you should be able to skip through songs without pulling the ipod out.

icelink! I heard those were hard to get a hold of.
how does it compare the prolink or the dice kit? iv been shopping for a few months and they seem to be pretty close in features and I am having trouble choosing one. I found a site offering a pretty good discount with free shipping..kinda want to pull the trigger already. |
