Hey guys just bought a 2007 Audi A6 and when I did the mmi control **** was acting up and didn't work all the time. Now it has stopped working all together. The owner before me said he spilt some pop in their and that was when it started acting up. Do you guys think its just a bad **** or do you think it could be a bad circuit board? All the other buttons work but the buttons on the right half of the counsel don't light up but still work. Going to be digging into it next week and would love some input on it before I start. Thanks guys

 

Not sure if your A6 is similar to my Q7 but my MMI was acting up. After lots of research, I bought a new MMI circuit board on eBay ($60) from a Chinese seller. The swap took about 45 minutes and now everything works. Check Youtube for videos on replacing yours.

 

I agree with norwestie I did the same and everything works fine now.
