I'm looking to add a touch screen DVD to my 01 A4, and I'd rather have it be in-dash vs. popout. I've changed out many head units on other cars before, but it was always just a single din swap out.

I'm looking at this HU:

Any reason to think this would not work? Any suggestions / reasons to be worried? I know basic stuff about car audio, but I'm kind of a newb. Other than speakers, this would also be the first mod I've done on my A4 after 5 years of ownership.

I just changed to the Pioneer 90BT and love it, still have steering wheel controal and now I have an all in one HU. My car is an 08 so no one state side had the dash kit or harness so I went to dynamicsounds.co.uk and they had what I needed. Just the dash kit and harness for the steering wheel and all good. I emailed them and had them tell me what I needed. You can get the 90BT for about $500 now.

Its nice and has everything, dvd, nav, ipod, bluetooth, etc and no pop out screen to go bad. Now they have a couple newer versions too, the Z3 and Z4. The 90bt has no dics for nav its on the hard drive. All the new ones are like that. I actually bought the 900BT which has a few less gadgets on it but they sent me the 90BT, I guess cuz the 900BT is phasing out.
