No power coming from the wire that goes to the SAI pump? 2001 Audi A6 2.7t
Hi guys. I have 2001 audi a6 2.7T with p1423 and p1411 codes... I checked the pump with external power and it works fine. Checked the fuse for continuity and it's also fine. I checked the wire (that goes to the SAI pump) for voltage, and there is no power. Any suggestions? thanks...
Is there any relay for the SAI pump on this car??/
Here is the picture of my ECU box... I have one 40amp fuse which I checked and it's fine...and one relay which I also checked with external power and multimeter, and it's also fine...the resistance does go to zero...So if that is the relay for the SAI pump then the relay seems to be ok...Is there supposed to be more relays in the box? Am I missing any??? Is there a different relay for the SAI pump? suggestions appreciated. Thanks...

I had a torn out vacuum line from the driver side combi valve that goes to the stainless pipe and then to the t-connector. I replaced those pipes. Put everything back. and started the car. The pump kicked in (I think it only kicks on when the car is cold)
By the way, pump was good, relay was good, fuse was good...Luckily I saw the torn out pipe....
Now I'm going to clear the code, and see if it stays off for good. thanks guys. will keep you updated.

Hi Guys,
Any idea where the fuse for the vacuum pump is located, I’ve swapped over the pump for another one but no power going to it. The old vacuum pump is dead and I think it blew the fuse because of it. Replaced it with another one which works fine after powering it up from a 12v source but can’t find the location of the fuse anywhere and can’t find it listed.
any help please
thanks
