Hi All,

I have a 2009 A6 and just changed the rotors and pads. I believe the gent that was helping me may have pinched the sensor wire coming from the pad. I need to take the tire back off and check that with a continuity tester.

My question is this:

When the pad sensor alert on the dash comes on, does that also trigger the brake alert? The pad sensor looks like this (O) and the brake warning light is right below the parking brake light that is on when the EPB is on.

I scanned the car with the HEX-NET but did not find any code faults, which I thought was strange.

Any feedback would be appreciated.
