Been searching all day online for a radar detector. I am down to The Valentine1 and The Escort Solo S2. Anyone have any good luck with either. Recommend any others? I am currently driving 50 city and 50 hwy.

I don't know what the price range is on those, but someone had a radar thread a week or so back...I think they had a passport and were quite liking it...you might search "passport".

I got a cheap ($125) cobra that gets the job done, but once you get into the $300 range they have a lot of much handier features that I can't speak to...good luck

 

i'm using a passport 8500 x50 and it's been awesome so far. i've always been skeptical of the cordless passport but i can't say for sure. a while back i borrowed someone's valentine1 and those are awesome as well. i think it's got the best range out there and the arrows are pretty cool.
