Sirius in my '99 A4
Help ...
Option 1: Plug and play direct wired into the antenna, but forego the auxiliary input for Ipod and keep the 6 CD changer in trunk.
Option 2: Move to new head unit that's Sirius ready, has an Aux input for Ipod and have everything directly wired. Not to mention an in-dash CD.
Not one to do it myself and am terrified of the Big Box electronics store doing the install on either option. Would prefer option 2, but how difficult is it really? Should I be able to trust the new hire at Circuit City to return my car in good electronic working condition without something broken, poorly wired or with fuses blown?
Appreciate everyone's thoughts.

RE: Sirius in my '99 A4
Had a similar route in my '01 A6. Went for a new Sirius 100 portable receiver and auto kit. Kit was installed in 40 minutes, includes integrated FM and Wifi transmitter. Bonus for the Sirius 100 was DVR-like record capabilities for 100 hours of music. Bought it online from the Sirius store (best price online @ $299) - http://www.tss-radio.com
