Speaker Thump on ignition

I have had something wierd happening off and on the past couple of weeks. Occasionaly when starting my a4 I get a pop from the rear speaker. This does not happen all the time and I do not have the speakers cranked when listening. My bass sounds fine so I don't think it is blown. The first time it happened it scared the ___t out of me. Sounded like someone knocked on the back window. Anyways anyone else with the same issue or is my car pocessed by some demon spirt that is trying to taughnt me.

What radio and speaker system do you have? Usually thats a signal of a problem with the amlifyer.

I am using the factory system. I have the Symphony II and not sure if I have the bose speakers or something else.

Yes it sounds like a bad ground related to the amplifier, or possibly the quiet turn on feature that most amps have, factory included.
