Default Sub Help

I have a 2003 audi a4 1.8t sedan and I was wondering a few things if you guys could help. I have installed a two
10" alpine type e subs and an alpine 500 watt sub. it hits hard but i want more. i was wondering if it was possible to hook up two more type e subs if i was to get a 1000 watt 2 channel amp if that would work. also if there was any way to replace the stock sub with an aftermarket sub.

I was also wondering if anyone knew what the dimensions and the watts of the stock speakers in the car? thanks to anyone could help.

If you get a bigger amp, you will need to bridge the amp to power all 4 subs. You should just put one 12" MTX or JL or something in there to the 1000w amp. will sounds just as good. You can replace the stock sub i believe, i have never done it so im not sure on how to do it. I have the 01 A4 and my front speakers are 5 1/4" and the rear are 6 1/2". Hope this helps.

man how loud u wnat it. I have two alpine type r's with a 1200 watt mono amp and it pounds. I actually cant have it turned all the way up or my ears feel like they will start to bleed. Can u post pics of ur set up. MY suggestion is to get a better amp and upgrade ur alt and battery and get a custom built box.

^^^ agreeed.
Replace your amplifier with something a little more pow3rfull. What i love suggesting to people is. having a 10" and a 12". Grabbing all your perfect frequencys for all genres lol.
Upgrading your amp and using those two sizes.. Promise you you wont be dissapointed.
