Default sub in s4

Hey I did a search and didn't come up with anything but that little spot where the jack and stuff goes in the driver side rear corner of a b5 s4, is that a good spot to stuff an 8 or 10 inch sub? I know it will fit in there and making a box is no problem but how will the sound quality be? anyone done this?

I've done both a 10" and a 12". I'm looking for pics, but I'm sure it can be done, and it sounds very nice. What is the rest of your system?

Thanks, pics would be great. The rest of the system is just the factory bose which sounds very good and is very loud but i like to get just a hint more bass. The car has a 240w eclipse amp in it when i bought it so i would like to hook a small sub up to it. I listen to mostly rock and alternative music. i was going to do a complete new system but i was surprised at how crisp and loud the factory system is so i will save my money for now. But the sub is definately something i want to do

I've got TONS of Audi pics I've found while "researching" what I wanted to do in my car. I decided to keep as much trunk space as possible - and do what's called an "infinit baffle". These are a pair of specially designed 15"s. NOT ALL SUBWOOFERS WILL PERFORM WELL IN THIS TYPE OF INSTALL! Since these pictures were taken, a few changes have been done - like dynamating the rear deck, and adding a metal grille...Enjoy!

Here's a few other's that I thought were done very well:

I've got more pics of other items, like front speakers, dash/radio installs, etc. Just ask!

those are some great pics, thanks alot! I like the under the rear deck setup. I think i will do something simple like the JL in the last pic for now. I am going to keep some of these pics though cause in the near future when i have some time to put into this thing i would like to go a little crazy with it since it is sort of a show/daily driver.

How much does this kind of custom boxing cost to get done? While it would be nasty i definitly dont have the money for the cool stuff with the amp and neon im just interested int he boxs and subs. I want to get 2 10" what are some good makes? Would the whole carpet in the trunk need to be replaced to match? Is sound quality decent with this sort of set up?
