Symphony death glow????? 2002 S6 Avant
So, I got into the S6 yesterday & noticed right away that my Symphony head unit was "glowing". I thought - this can't be good..!! Started the car, rolled out & I could not get the radio / CD / etc. to work at all.. Just an eery glow from the display and buttons...
Drove to work, sans tunes, trying every button combination I could think of to get it to respond.. NADA... NOTHING... ZIP... ZILCH... (insert your own negative metaphor here)
Frustrated, I thought the head unit was TOAST... Wondering if anyone was gonna have a stock head unit for sale, what I could install in it's place, etc. etc.
..until this morning...
I went out to the car & pulled the radio fuse and re-inserted it... VOILA'...!!! Death glow went away and I had my radio / CD back... Not sure why it locked up overnight the way it did Thursday night, but if it happens again, at least I know what it'll take to reset it... I just hope it's not on it's way out!!!!
Any others out there have this happen with your stock Symphony head units..???
