Upgrading the stereo in an A3 8L
Hi all,
I've got an Audi A3 8L (2003), and have broken the concert stereo, so am therefore replacing it.
I've got a new stereo, some bog standard Phillips thing from Halfords, and hooked it up and the connectors don't work. I've found this is normal, but really have no idea how to sort it.
I've tried three different iso converters, a PC9-401, PC9-404, and a CT51-AU02. It does say on the eBay auction that it's not for Bose audio systems, but I've really got no idea whether I have a Bose system or not, or how to tell whether I do or not.
I could probably crimp the wires from the stereo to the car, but I've no idea which to connect to which. That might be the easiest solution if anyone can help!
Any advice, or a solution, would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
dirtychinchilla
