Default Upgrading stock to BOSE (Simphony)

I have stock speakers (Nokia I believe) and Simphony I in my 2000 A4. My previous A4 had BOSE amp. and speakers, and needless to say - I miss it !!
Found this friendly priced stock BOSE amp. on eBay and now the plan is to buy speakers and to upgrade the whole system to BOSE.

I'm trying to avoid reinventing the wheel here, so just wanted to see if anyone has done this? How difficult is it, and do I need to purchase any additional connectors/wires?

Can I replace my Simphony I with the newer Simphony II without any major hustle? My CD changer is missing the CD case, so this would solve my problem and I heard the sound is better.

Thanks guys,
Milo.

you can easily recode your sym I to bose with a vagcom....but installing the bose amp and related speakers will take a bit of work. You'll need to order the bentley manual and figure out the schematics. That a lot of time invested in a project like that.

Good luck!

Seems like you would have better luck building a custom stereo. The Bose system really isn't anything too great.
