What did I do that disabled automatic door locks?
I just recently purchased a 2013 A5 Cabriolet. When we first got the car it would automatically lock itself when parked and off after about 60 seconds just like the manual says it should. However, I've done something via the convenience key that has disabled that function. Now the car no longer locks itself.
Everything else works fine. I can lock the car by touching the handle or via the key fob. I assume that I accidentally pushed the keys on the key fob that disabled this feature, and I would like to get it back.
I read somewhere that pushing the "lock" button on the key fob twice within a few seconds disables the automatic lock. In order to restore the function I pushed the lock button on the key fob twice within a few seconds... and got a couple of chirps from the car and it locked. But, it didn't restore the automatic locking function.
I've read the manual and done several searches, to no avail. Hopefully someone knows how to correct this.
Thanks
