i need an exhaust system that is not too expensive and that can produce some good sound. but i hav no idea where to look. so i am asking everyone if they know where i can get a good exhaust system for my1997 audi a4 (b5). or if anyone could tell me where they bought theirs. cus im pretty new to this. this will also be my first mod. thanx

 

hey to get an inexpensive exhaust take it to a uffler shop and they can build one for you for pretty cheap and they sound good too.

that is how i did my custom three inch before i had 2.5 and both of them sounded awesome and were alot cheaper than the nuespeed and apr exhaust system

 

im looking at the borla boomers, especially the spitfire. is it hard to install a muffler? should i get someone else to do it?

 

ya or if you have a buddy who can weld then you supply the beer! the six pack always works!

 

go the custom route. you should be able to get a cat-back done for $300ish + the cost of whatever muffler you want to use...

 

^+1 on that. Do some research on the different brands so you can hear the sound difference. Custom all the way and ask if they do your dp's while they're in there.
