'01 TT top unsealed at the rear, do I need a whole new top?
 

I just got an '01 TT Quattro roadster with low miles but the top is unsealed at the rear of the car. The top itself looks to be in very good condition and when up the car seems relatively sealed, it's not gushing water by any means but it is still leaking some and I want to get this fixed before it leads to more serious problems with the central locking unit and other things, do I need to get the entire top replaced or is it possible to just reseal the back where it has come undone?

I have the same problem. My shop said I needed to get a new roof but referred me to a guy who does apohltsry repairs. The issue is this...if you don't need the defrost then you can find a shop to fix the window, but if you plan to need the defrost then plan on buying a new top. Hope this helps.
