98 audi fog light grill help!
 

So I ordered myself a pair of 98-01 Audi foglight grill and comes to find out that they are completely different the Guy told me 98-01 are the same but there not... has anyone replaced there fog light grills on a 98-01 Audi with the different design!?!?! Its confusing the heck out of me they are the same size but wont go in the proper spot next to the center lower grill...


If anyone has done this change let me know... will I have to mod anything on the bumper? Or what?

I had both mine stolen a couple years ago. Ended up buying some off ebay with broken tabs to save myself the dealer costs. The new tabs I plasti-welded on make then MUCH more difficult to remove.

Exactly the same way I went I bought some and got lucky to find out they are OEM
but the tabs next to the fog lights are the long type... that's my only problem they fit but its just that part of the grill that's giving me trouble... I also got brand new fog lights off ebay as well they just seem not to connect up to the connectors right it keeps on blowing my fuse.... any suggestions on that?
