Convertible back glass coming off canvas

My convertible top is coming off the back canvas, I've called and everyone has said I have to replace it, but is there an adhesive I can use as a temporary fix?

1 minute epoxy?

How can you tell if you are getting a good replacement top. With rear glass separating from top, I have heard the best solution is to replace it. Where should I look, also what would be a good price?

Convertible canvas coming unglued from glass

All:
I know this has been discussed numerous times and even Youtube videos have been made with extensive details on how to apply glue. Lol! Bottom line, epoxies seem to work better than silicone based glues. My A4 cabrio top was separating from the glass. I tried a silicone based glue and verified that this doesn't work. A few days ago, I purchased a 30 minute epoxy and figured that I would try this and if did not work, I would take it to my boat canvas guy to see what he could do. Alas! It did the trick!
I purchased a Permatex Permapoxy 30 minute epoxy from Advanced Auto parts. It was less than $10 US and it seems to work well. I applied it, stuffed some rags between the deck and the inside of the glass to apply pressure and I used duct tape to ensure that the canvas stayed attached to the glass during the curing process. I waited 4 days to test it and it seems to stay in place as I put the top down four times as a test.

Check it out:

The bottom line is that Audi and VW use inferior glass-canvas attachment methods. You do not see this issue with other high-end performance manufacturers. Most use a frame to capture the glass. When will Audi learn this lesson and change suppliers?

I am experiencing separation on the lower right quarter of the window/top material. I took it to the Audi dealer, past warranty but "have not seen that condition on a 2010 A5 Cabriolet." Two estimates later, the word is that the entire convertible top has to be replaced (circa 6K USD). Sent formal complaint to dealer and Audi of America. as winter approaches, might try the Permatex Permapoxy route
