Had the "danger" light come on in my 03 A4, what is this light trying to tell me?

 

Which light? The yellow Check Engine Light (CEL - yellow circle with engine). If that is the case it is telling you that something is wrong with your engine or your car's emissions. If it is solid, take it to get looked at soon. If it is flashing, stop driving it immediatly and have it towed to a mechanic. Driving on a flashing CEL will probably damage your car.

 

If it's a yellow triangle, the elctronic stability control is turned off.

 

It means terrorists have painted your car as a target and you need to abort and call the authorities immediately!

 

Danger as in "we are all going to die?"
