00 A6 Engine light
00 A6 2.8 engine light.
I shut the check engine light off after replacing the gas cap with a AutoZone gas cap as suggested by them. then 2 days later check engine light back on. The code says major fuel systme failure or something like that.
NOTE. After fueling the car the car will not start I have to either crank it pump the peddele or let it sit for 5 min before I can start the car.
I have been leaving the car running while fueling lately and I can hear the engine change idle speed.
What could it be???
