I just bought the car on thursday when i took a look at it, it was not leaking oil but now that ive had it parked in my garage ive noticed a puddle of oil under neat the car. According to the guy the valve cover gasket was changed and the water pump anyone have any idea where its leaking from because i dont want to run it the way it is

 

Could be coming from anywhere. keep in mind that all of the rubber seals and gaskets go bad on these cars. Start replacing them all. If you do work and your going past one be sure to replace it.

As a your leak goes, Jack it up and have a looky see.

 

check you turbo lines. mines having same problems and its coming from turbo feed line. I think they have gaskets too but not sure. this is my first audi.

 

1.8t's make a mess when doind oil changes too... Oil sometimes gets into the subframe and can drip out...
