So I bought a TT a few months back and upon inspecting under the hood I noticed that there was this little plastic box just sitting there and I couldn’t find out what it was. The car runs fine and boost seemed to be working fine. Now I’ve found that it’s the vacuum reservoir, so my question is what exactly is the significance of this reservoir? How much does it affect the performance of the car? The only thing I can really notice that would be wrong is that it feels like it falls out of boost sometimes at higher rpms. I’m new to turbos so any insight would be great, thanks guys!
