My '05 A6 gave me a fault code a couple of weeks ago and since I'm a newbie I don't know what it's telling me.

1 Fault Found:
01771 - Control Module for Headlight Range (J431)
008 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent

Is it just telling me that a wire/connector is loose somewhere and it lost contact temporarily? Or is it something more sinister? In case it matters I was doing 65 miles per hour in 20 degree weather at the time.
