I have a 2006 A6 w/80k which my wife an I love. About 6 months ago some popping noises started coming from the fuel tank area. We took it to the local dealer and they said Audi states this "Normal and there is no fix for it". It does this all the time. My kids call it the farting car. I found the RVU for it as well as TSB numbers (200704, 20142931). The RVU states there is some update that fixes this. My car is out of warranty but I will pay for whatever update I need. However, the dealer says they can't do anything. Does anyone know if there is anything than can be done to fix this?
