09 plate A4 auto wipers issue
 

I have the sensor based wipers, experiencing an intermiettent problem whereby if the wipers are set on auto when starting the car up, the wipers kick in on the highest speed and don't stop unless the wipers switch is turned off completely. It happens intermittently. When it does happen, flicking the switch to the auto mode will continue to result in the wipers running on highest speed (irrespective of whether it is raining or not). It appears the issue then dissapears after 5-10 minutes of driving.

It looks almost like a software glitch to me. I called up audi and they claim there is no known issue.

I'm really going to struggle to prove there's an issue to them as it only happens occasionally.

Anyone else experienced this?
