1.8t help
Im going to come right out and say I didn't think before I acted... I have a 2001 A4 1.8t awm my issue is I had to change the cam chain tensioner.. not a big issue I marked everything for timing tore into it and replaced it...now I have never done one but hey Im a locomotive mechanic so it didn't seem that it would be a problem...I think I lack the finesse for these fine motors..anyways with out thinking during replacement of the cct I used the "whole" kit the tensioner came with and it came with a new chain so yea I threw it on without thinking...got it all back together can have misfire codes on all cylinders...my marks all look right only thing I can think of is if timing belt slipped a tooth.. or maybe the changing of the cam chain requires more than I was intending. I cant find anything online and every time I search up the actual chain replacement it always refers me to the cct.. so Im at a loss...any and all info will be greatly appreciated here.. thanks ahead of time guys.
