Hello,


Last week i bought a audi tt with around 140k miles on it.
When i was driving i heard a verry loud noise of incomming air into the turbo (i guess, i dont know that much about them).
After i did some research, i replaced te Diverter valve as some people told me that was the problem.

Now i still can hear a loud "air" noise (again, i dont know if this is normal) on high RPM. Also when im above 2/ 2.5k rpm and shift or let the gas go i hear a noise comming of from the turbo (what i tought was the noise from the old broken Diverter valve, but i still have it). I also dont feel like i have the power i should have when the turbo kicks in..

btw, i dont have any wierd bloff of things on my engine, just a stock 180 1.8t engine with a chip tune.

But here is the thing, i just noticed a broken cable what was connected to a black box on top of my engine (not shure what it is lol)

Can anyone tell me what these parts are called (the part where the cable needs to be on and i need to replace) ?

Did i do any damage to my engine by driving like this?

Is this my problem with the turbo making the noise and leaking some boost??
