1996 b5 2.8 what is this hose?
 

What's up guys? I have a 1996 b5 a4 2.8
I was looking under the hood and noticed one of my hoses were dry and cracked, upon further investigation it's completely cracked off and was very brittle. Does anyone know what this hose is? And how I can replace it? Thanks a lot. :confused:

Hi. That is an engine breather hose. Because it's plastic, it becomes brittle over time and they are prone to breaking even if disturbed slightly.
