Hey guys, I hope you can help with this one so here goes.....
My husband is fixing a 1999 quattro for a friend of mine, he has had to replace the main wiring harness and everything seems to be working good so far but there is a clicking sound in relay panel, replaced fuel relay still the same thing and she'll crank but no start

 

Clicking when. All the time or just when you try to start it?

 

Continuosly at start

 

Definitely something is not right. I recommend checking all of the grounding points on the harness. Loose grounds will cause all kinds of freaky issues. Until you eliminate them, you'll pull your hair out.

 

I'll have him do that tomorrow, oh btw, we did get her started and running for a minute or two, so there is hope
