Hi I am new to the forum and the proud new owner of an A4 well not so proud now. I bought a 2001 a4 1.8t 5 speed Quattro with 162,000 miles and was driving it how and pulled in the drive way and had parts of the motor on the ground specifically the connecting rod that goes from the crank to the piston but it was only half of the rod but I found a motor and turbo from a 99 a4 5 speed Quattro but the engine codes are different so I was wondering will a 99 1.8t with engine code AEB work in my a4 with the engine code AWM? If not what will I have to get in order to do the swap? The guy has all the ecu and harness also for the ecu please help
