Hey. I just bought a 2001 Audi A6 4.2, and I am having some problems. Its at the shop at the moment, and they are trying to charge me to much to fix it. Heres the problem. The tranny is full of oil, but the gears wont shift. The guy at the shop told me it was the transmission oil pump, because after the engine is running, the tranny is still cold, and their is no oil being pumped. He said if the oil was pumping in the tranny, then the tranny would warm up, but its just cold. Is he right? If not, what are some tips you guys could provide for me. Thanks a lot.
