Hello, I recently purchased a used 2001 Audi S4 and have wondered about a few observations I noticed while driving the vehicle.

Fistly, I have noticed that while in gear, idle and stopped the engine seems to missfire becoming very rough sounding. Has anyone had this issue? At speed the car does not misfire and seems to have full power.

Secondly, I have never owned an AWD vehicle before. When I take my foot off the gas, my S4 seems to decelerate very quickly. Is this normal? Due to all the mechanical hardware related to the AWD or can something be wrong. The car has newish brakes! I dont think one of them is dragging or was improperly installed.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
