I have a 2001 Audi TT and the ESP and ABS lights are on at the same time. The lights usually come on after i have been driving for few minutes. Somtimes they will turn off while driving, but usually I have to turn the car off and the light will not be on when I start the car. Then I start drivng again and both light come on again.

Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this problem? Can I do it myself?

If you have dirty wheel speed sensors, you can fix it.

make sure your brake lights are working when the lights come on...

faulty brake light switches are very common and throws faults in almost every major system

 

ABS and ESP indicators have nothing to do with the three rear brake lights.
