I have a 98 A8 with 141K, no issues, outside of the transmission being replaced, has been a great car. I found a 01 S8 with high miles 130K and am wondering if anyone has had any issues with them. Is the transmission similar to the A8 issues? Reliability of the S8? I have heard of brake concerns? Is there anything that is different from the A8's of the same or similar years? Does the S8 also having a timing belt or did they get smart and goto a timing chain? Any help would be appreciated.
