2002 A6 2.7T quattro door lock electronics troubles
 

I have a 2002 A6 2.7T and I began having electrical troubles with it in the past few days. The door locks are firing off while I am driving whenever they please. It seems to happen more often when I move the steering wheel... The locks also actually went off one time when I stepped out of the car once locking the keys inside the car out of the ignition. Any ideas on what may be causing the problems, and how to fix it? Thanks

got some more information... i used a VAD Mobile to pull the codes...

01119 136 - Transmition range gear position sporadic (which i do not think is related to the problems I am having - might be due to the car being chipped)

01366 035 - opened via crash signal
01371 035 - alarm via door contact switch
00956 137 - key adaption limit exceeded (both key 1 and 2 codes)
01574 035 - door switches
01573 035 - door switches

theywere almost all alarm related problems. Any ideas on what could cause these problems - and if I can fix them personally?

01371 035 - alarm via door contact switch
that could be the one check the wires and if its got a loose ground
