2002 A6 Quattro jolts when put in gear
 

Hello guys, my A6 quattro 3.0 jolts as I shift in gear and has really slow acceleration. A check engine light has been on for years indicating an emmissions problem but could never pinpoint what the problem is after spending close to $14,000 at the dealership(ext warranty paid). Anybody else know why it may be jolting?
