I was parked outside the local store the other day and the car was idling normally. Suddenly there was a slight misfire and within a second or two it stopped running, and would not restart. No sign of life at all. My mechanic is at his wits end trying to find out the problem, and ran a diagnostic on it and that checked out. The day prior to this incident, i noticed that both front windows and the sunroof were not working. Dont believe in coincidences, so thinking there is a connection here ?? Want to also mention that the drivers mirror took a hard knock the other day from a passing motorist, but it did not break off, though the body has a crack. A friend mentioned that there may be a short here ??? Happened to a friend of his whose car had a heated mirror and stopped running ( mine does not ), but thought I should mention it. Also the rear latch has not been working recently, the top part being slighty loose and was about to fix that. Rear wiper wont work even with the trunk seemingly closed. warning light on console flashing. Any suggestions would be welcome. thanks.

No, There was no error codes on the Diagnostic so hence the big issue tracking down this fault. My mechanic did a great job and it took him a few days to sort it. Turned out there was a short within the rear fuel pump, so not visible to the naked eye !!!! He got me a used one for small money. The non working windows and sunroof were a faulty relay switch which he said was unconnected to my main problem. Thanks be to heaven that this guy does not charge much for his work !!!
