Default 2004 Audi TT quattro 3.2

Had a couple questions. First of, this car is my baby! I love this car so much. It is a very fun and enjoyable car.
So first (vague) question. My check engine light came on. Everything is running smoothly though. No weird noises, jolts, or anything. What could it maybe be?
Second question, also vague, I want to add some stuff to this car. It has borla exhaust now, but I want either magnaflow or flowmaster. Want to change the headlights, and wrap it. now other than that, idk what to do with it. Can it be turbo charged? Super? what would you guys recommend?

Go down to AutoZone, Pepboys, or Advance Auto and have them pull the OBD error codes from the car's ECU. The Check Engine Light can come on for anything including a loose gas cap.... Since you're not experiencing any obvious issues, it's probably something simple.

I've taken it to two separate auto zones and their tools just freeze up. And just today as I was driving , the car didn't quit on me, but I wasn't able to accelerate. The (I think traction control light) came on, and the speedometer and reps went down. I could sit their and rev it but wouldn't accelerate like it was in neutral. I tried switching it to neutral and back but had to pull over and turn it off/on. It works now but what the heck was that?

Interesting...... You need to find you a good reputable German Car shop in your area and have them hook up a VAG-COM reader to it. Unless you have deep pockets, do not take it to the dealer. It almost sounds like a communications error between the ECU (Engine Control Unit) and the TCU (Transmission Control Unit).

Could just be a loose connection somewhere or loose ground. Anyway the dealer will charge you a $100 an hour...... Just sayin'.

So I got it scanned finally and it was a cat converter bank 2 code which to my knowledge isn't too serious and it's not going to shut me down or anything. My issue the other day with the lack of power sounds like just a miscommunication with the ecu and tcu.

Now , on to another question. I want to spend some more money on this baby but this time for fun stuff. Exhaust, some type of charge, performance stuff. As far as exhaust I think I'll probably do magnaflow or flowmasters , but with the charge stuff, I don't know anything about it. What should I look into?

I've not really dealt much with aftermarket items for these cars. But I'd stick with reputable companies like Magnaflow and such. Be sure that the items are actually made for the car and not require any serious mods that might do more harm than good.
