Hi,

i have a few problems that you hopefully will be able to help me out with..

i have just acquired my first audi. my car is an A4, 2005 2ltr TDI, 6 speed gear box with FWD. It just done about 80,000.

problem 1

i have an intermittent problem with the boot. on occasions (more so in wet and cold weather) the boot wont shut. it just bounces back up. i have been given a suggestion that this may be either the boot solenoid or the lock mechanism....any thoughts??

problem 2.

sometimes when i start the car for the first time in the morning the car shakes when running idle. its as if all the cylinders are not firing. ive not owned a diesel before, but could this mean that a glow plug needs replacing??

problem 3.

recently my front passeger window developed a horible grinding gritty noise when i try to open/close it. it has a mind of its own and decides all by itself whether it goes up or down. what could this be?
