Talking 2005 s4 turn signal issue, symptons dont point toward relay replacement

first off
2005 s4 quattro, 6mt 55k

the problem at hand

my frnt left turn signal is out. it is only the front turn signal though, and when i have my parking lights on the bulb is lit, just no blinking action comes out of it..

from my readings on replaceing the hazard buttom, that cures problems throughout the whole turn signal function, not really meant toward fixing a single bulb...

is there a relay or anything in the headlight housing alone for each turn signal or is it only the hazard buttom??
i ask this because yesterday i removed my headlights to reseal them(had condesation) and im not sure if maybe i loosely reconnected sumthing or what. just wondering if anyone else has had his problem and can steer me in the right direction before i dive into pulling my headlamps again( wont have time till the weekend)..

TIA

Default

also i would like to add that on my driver info display when i press the check button, it says "driver turn signal fail"

not sure if that will help diagnose the problem
