2007 a4 computer menu tire pressure?

hello! can someone help me with this issue? I have a 2007 A4. I purchased it used a few months ago. The tires were new but did not have the metal valve stems which I am told indicate they did not have the tire pressure sensors (I assume they removed them). The tires were terribly noisy (Sunny 3800) so I replaced them with new tires (Hankook) which are really quiet. Before I replaced the tires Discount tire told me they believe the 2007 should have the sensors. I called the dealer and yes they said all 2007 A4 s had sensors. So I purchased 4 sensors ($400 bucks ouch). Discount installed them and tells me the Audi computer will learn the pressure. I was not convinced as the 2007 service manual said you need to access the menu and reset the computer. I went to the Audi dealer and they confirmed what Discount said- no reset required on my part.....if the light is not on in the dash no problem they said. Well there never was a light on even with the Sunny tires without modules so I want to access the computer. The manual tells me to access via a button and toggle on the wiper arm but there is no button/toggle on the arm....how do I acess the menu without the button/arm? Thank you!
